STILL WATERS
Still Waters distillery is located on the grounds of Waimarino Luxury Lodge in Queenstown, New Zealand. We source the water for our artisan spirits from nearby glacier fields.
Waimarino is Maori for Still Waters and the location of the lodge is in an area commonly called Bobs Cove but originally known as Waimarino. The location is stunning and is the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail or two.
The distillery is about creation, having hands on fun and making some of the most beautiful spirits possible.
We use native New Zealand botanicals to infuse our gins whilst our vodka is 7 X distilled in our hand made small batch copper stills.
We used organic growing and distilling methods. Grapes not suitable for wine from local vineyards are used to form our base spirit. Our spirits have a flavour that you will rarely find in bulk produced commercial spirits. We pride ourselves on a silky-smooth mouth feel alongside our signature botanical undertones.
We have a lot of fun at Still Waters and would love for you to come and visit us. All guests to Waimarino have the opportunity of grafting their own gin. Choose your selection of botanicals, place them in our still in the morning, when you return that afternoon you will get to sample and take home your very own bottle of gin. Better still blend it in a cocktail or with our own dry tonic and sit on the distillery deck overlooking Lake Wakatipu as the sun goes down.
